Running with Purpose: Fit Fest 2025 Raises $14,000 for Kline Veterans Fund

On Saturday, March 8th, Skye Canyon’s annual Fit Fest brought the community together for a day of movement, motivation, and meaningful impact. In partnership with the Olympia Companies Charitable Foundation, this high-energy celebration of health and wellness welcomed over 330 runners and raised an impressive $14,000 in support of the Kline Veterans Fund, a Southern Nevada nonprofit dedicated to assisting veterans and their families.

From early morning stretches to crossing the finish line, participants of all ages laced up for the event’s 5K/8K road races and one-mile fun run, enjoying panoramic views of the Spring Mountains and Skye Canyon’s scenic community trails.

But the finish line was only the beginning.

After the races, attendees celebrated their accomplishments at the Fit Fest post-race party, which featured delicious bites from local food trucks, complimentary recovery massages, and a lively vendor village filled with health and wellness resources, handcrafted goods, and community partners.

Families and spectators had plenty to enjoy as well, thanks to an exciting lineup of all-ages entertainment including inflatable games, a towering rock wall, and an adrenaline-pumping bungee jump.

“This event continues to grow in impact and energy each year,” said a representative from the Olympia Companies Charitable Foundation. “We’re incredibly proud to support the Kline Veterans Fund and give back to those who’ve served our country, all while promoting a healthy, connected community.”

With sneakers on pavement and hearts full of purpose, Fit Fest 2025 proved once again that when a community comes together in motion, it moves mountains.
