Snow Much Fun for a Cause: Pray for Snow Raises $4,000 for Project 150
Skye Canyon’s annual Pray for Snow holiday celebration returned in full festive force this year, blending seasonal cheer with community generosity — all to support a meaningful cause. Hosted in partnership with the Olympia Companies Charitable Foundation, the winter-themed event raised an incredible $4,000 for Project 150, a local nonprofit providing support and resources to homeless and disadvantaged high school students in Southern Nevada.
Held at Skye Center, the event welcomed hundreds of attendees to a magical holiday experience designed to spread joy — and goodwill. Guests enjoyed photos with Santa, Mickey Mouse, and Winnie the Pooh, while sipping on complimentary hot chocolate and enjoying holiday train rides through the beautifully decorated grounds.
The event also featured an array of holiday-themed inflatables, a whimsical Mickey Mouse DIY craft station, and a bustling Vendor Village offering festive finds and handcrafted gifts. Adding even more local flair this year, Pray for Snow proudly included the Fresh52 Farmers Market, where over 30 vendors showcased locally made goods, artisanal treats, and fresh produce — perfect for holiday shopping with a purpose.
