OCCF Welcomes Two New Charity Partners for the 2026 Governor’s Black Tie
The Olympia Companies Charitable Foundation (OCCF) is proud to welcome two new nonprofit partners, St. Jude’s Ranch for Children and Communities In Schools of Nevada, as beneficiaries of the 2026 Governor’s Black Tie.
For more than 25 years, the Governor’s Black Tie has brought together Nevada’s most generous community leaders, sponsors, and supporters to raise funds for organizations serving children, families, and individuals in need throughout Southern Nevada. Since its first charitable event in 2000, the signature fundraising event has raised more than $30 million to support nonprofit organizations making a difference across the community.
Each year, OCCF carefully selects charity partners whose missions align with the Foundation’s commitment to improving the quality of life for women, children, and at-risk families. The addition of St. Jude’s Ranch for Children and Communities In Schools of Nevada continues this tradition of supporting organizations that provide critical resources, hope, and opportunities for those who need them most.
St. Jude’s Ranch for Children has served vulnerable children and families for decades, providing programs designed to help children heal from trauma, build healthy relationships, and create brighter futures. The organization’s work supports children who have experienced abuse, abandonment, or other difficult circumstances by offering safe environments and services that promote healing and resilience.
Communities In Schools of Nevada works to surround students with the resources and support they need to stay in school, succeed academically, and reach their full potential. Through partnerships with schools and community organizations, the organization helps remove barriers to success and provides students with the tools they need to thrive.
“We are honored to welcome St. Jude’s Ranch for Children and Communities In Schools of Nevada as our newest Governor’s Black Tie charity partners,” said Garry Goett, Founder of the Olympia Companies Charitable Foundation. “Their dedication to helping children overcome challenges and creating opportunities for a better future reflects the values that have guided our Foundation since its beginning.”
The Governor’s Black Tie has become a cornerstone of philanthropy in Southern Nevada, with funds raised from the event helping nonprofit partners expand their programs and reach even more individuals and families. Through the generosity of sponsors, participants, and community supporters, OCCF continues to strengthen organizations that make a lasting impact.
OCCF looks forward to partnering with St. Jude’s Ranch for Children and Communities In Schools of Nevada during the 2026 Governor’s Black Tie and celebrating the important work they do every day to improve the lives of children throughout our community.
Together, we can continue building a stronger foundation of support for Southern Nevada.
